Annekabouke is Dutch designer Annemarie Grobben’s stagename. As a little girl Annemarie already modelled the most beautyful figures from clay. At home and at school, her creative talents were soon discovered and appreciated, and that is why Annemarie was already given space during her childhood to develop her creative skills. At age 15, Annemarie made so bold as to visit shops on her bike to promote her miniatures. Years later, she opened her cosy Annekabouke studio in Oegstgeest, the Netherlands. In her studio she hand-models the figurines and so, the foundations are laid for the valuable Gnomy’s Diaries collectibles. Annemarie has now enthusiastic collectors from all over the wordld and she receives fans and mail in her studio daily.
